All scanning is processed locally on your device.

2. Permissions We Use

Camera

Used solely to scan QR codes and barcodes in real-time.

  • We do not record or save camera footage.

  • No camera data leaves your device.

Storage (READ & WRITE)

Used for:

A) Accessing images in your gallery when you choose to scan a QR/barcode from an image.
B) Saving scanned results if you choose to export or store them.

  • No files are accessed without your action.

  • We do not read, modify, or upload unrelated files.

3. Google AdMob (Advertising)

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads.

AdMob may collect:

  • Advertising ID

  • Basic device information

  • Approximate location (for ad relevance)

AdMob’s data collection is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and global regulations.

Users may see a consent form (for EU/EEA users) to choose:

  • Personalized ads

  • Non-personalized ads

  • No consent (if applicable)

We do not store or process any advertising data ourselves.

Any scanning or image processing happens offline on your device only.
